How do I make programs run during shutdown using CAD Commander 2.5?

You must edit one of two files, depending on what type of information you would like displayed during the shutdown process.

If you would like to hide all of the shutdown proces activity from the end-user, edit the file CCENDTSK.CMD.  Simply put your commands in this file, entering the commands in exactly as you would from the OS/2 command prompt.

If you would like to see the output of the programs you are running during shutdown, edit the CCTASKS.CMD file.

For more details please view the beginning of the CCTASKS.CMD file.  It contains more complete instructions.

Why does my system reboot every time I choose to shutdown my system?

CAD Commander 2.5 and later automatically remembers whether or not the last time you shut down your system you chose to auto-reboot or not.  If you choose to auto-reboot your system and shutdown, the next time you shutdown the auto-reboot checkbox will still be selected.  Simply uncheck it and your system won't reboot automatically.
