Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 2.52 Update Released
September 8, 1998
PCS is announcing the availability of the CAD Commander 2.5 Toolkit.  The toolkit lets OS/2 C, C++, JAVA, and Rexx programmers access many of CAD Commanders functions directly from within their program.  Using simple to understand C/C++ functions, and complete with samples, header files, and all required library and DLL's, you'll be adding CAD Commander power to your programs in a matter of minutes.  Best of all - the cost is free if you're a registered CAD Commander 2.x customer.  The toolkit does require CAD Commander 2.52 so if you haven't downloaded the 2.52 update for CAD Commander, you should do it now!  The toolkit will be available in October 1998.

 

Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 2.5 Warp 3.0 with no Fixpacks Fix

A patch for CAD Commander 2.5's purchased before March 9, 1998 is available that will allow CAD Commander 2.5 to work properly with OS/2 Warp 3.0 with no fixpacks applied.  For more information see the

Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 2.5 Updated Status Line available

An update that includes fixes to the CONFIG.SYS Editor, as well as several other minor fixes has been made available in the CAD Commander 2.x Updates sections. For more information see the

Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 2.5 Updated Status Line Conversion Utility available
March 9, 1998

An update to the CAD Commander 2.5 Status Line's Conversion Utility is now available.  This update is intended for all CAD Commander 2.5 customers (it will not work with CAD Commander 2.0).  The update contains new conversions and fixes to a few conversions that had problems.  For more information see the

Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 2.5 Retail Package is here!
January 15, 1998

PCS has released CAD Commander 2.5 so that it can be purchased electronically and by standard shipping methods as a full retail package (instead of requiring CAD Commander 2.0, then upgrading it to CAD Commander 2.5).  This package can be ordered from

Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 1.x to 2.x Upgrade Price Change
January 15, 1997

After offering CAD Commander 1.x users upgrade to 2.0 for only $10 since January 1997, PCS has determined that it must raise the upgrade cost to $20 to cover support and production costs
The upgrade can be purchased using the PCS SEOS system right from this website.

PCS has completed a new version of the Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander! We have been taking your suggestions, and working on changes to enhance the performance, look and feel of the Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander.

Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 1.5 Update Patch Now Available
August 16,1996

PCS is pleased to announce that the CAD Commander 1.5 has finished testing and is currently in production. We are shipping to our resellers and those who have preordered it starting on August 8.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our registered customers for waiting so patiently while we readied the update procedure for this new version.

If you are registered user of the Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander 1.4 you will can update your version 1.4 to 1.5, free of charge, from this Web Site. You will need a valid E-Mail address to be able to receive authorization to download the update.

Japanese Warp user's will need to download the beta versions of the keyboard drivers which are available from the PCS Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander Updates page.

The 2.0 retail version includes some exciting new features:

CAD Commander PM Status Line, including:

Enhanced Window List - now set priorities and kill programs from the PM Desktop

Shows swapper space and free space on your hard drives

CPU Monitor and graph that is friendly towards all applications (unlike many others that require high-priority processing to work)
